AIRAID CAD Air Intake System Installation - 2006 Ford F-150- Video
Today on our 2006 Ford F150 we'll be installing the Airaid Intake System, part number 401-140-2. Now to begin our installation underneath the hood here we'll need to disconnect the mass airflow sensor. We'll do this by sliding the red tab back and then simply removing the connector. We'll also need to slide the intake tube here on the other side off by moving the green clip and then pulling it off.We'll also need to disconnect the wiring harness from the air box in these two locations. We'll now take a 10mm deep socket and remove the four tower bolts, two on each side and also the one bolt holding the factory intake tube to the mounting bracket here. At this point we can go ahead and remove the entire factory intake system. more
